About Us

Our history, and our mission.

We have been serving the Greeley community since 1983. We started this service out of Greeley Wesleyan Church (now Generations Church). Later we moved to Garden City for a few years and then moved downtown to better serve our community. We recently moved down the block to the present location at 1100 11th Avenue. Recently, we reorganized as a Colorado non-profit corporation and have IRS 501c3 tax-exempt status. We are able to receive from Foundations and Donor Advised Funds; our EIN is 93-246-1321.

Everything is given. We are an all-volunteer run agency. We are on pace to help 500 households a month.

Our goal is to give temporary help and hope to those of us going through a tough time.

WHAT WE DO

  • We give away food, clothing and small household items.
  • We allow folks to get help once a month.
  • We welcome everyone.
  • We encourage everyone to park in the large lot south of the building and enter by the east door (you may need to wait your turn to enter).
  • We give all of your donations directly to the people most in need of these items.
  • We give tax deductible receipts for your donated items and financial help.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

A Shout Out to Our Agency Partners

The COC partners with a number of agencies who support our mission.
The Weld Food Bank (WFB) is one of those. We purchased about 20,000 pounds of food from the WFB during 2023 at a minimal cost. They supply the lion’s share of the food we give to our clients.  Our thanks goes out to The Weld Food Bank for the resources they share.

Thank you to all of our Individual Supporters and Agency Partners!

We could not serve without all of you.
A special thanks to these Agency Partners:
